Very happy customer.

This is the first time I've used AG, however I've had several recommendations and have personally recommended them to other people. I chose to use them over my regular lab as they were still developing B&W and E6 films during the COVID pandemic. Altogether a great experience and I'll give a full account here.

Turnaround time for developing - Excellent.

I got my C41 scans back within 4 days of them arriving in the lab. I got my B&W scans back within 5 days and my E6 scans back within a week. That's pretty impressive in normal times not to mention COVID days!

Communication - Excellent.

Friendly and helpful when I phoned to ask them a question. They also contacted me to say I had made an error on my order and were very polite about it. It turned out it was them who had made the error - all sorted very quickly and efficiently.

Quality of Scans (C41) - Excellent.

I ordered one roll of C41 to be developed and scanned at medium resolution with tif files and another roll of C41 to be developed and scanned as low-res jpegs. I asked that all these scans be relatively neutral and flat. Overall I'm very happy with the scans! The colours were great, nice and sharp but not *too* sharp. There was a few specs of dust I had to remove myself but that's to be expected. One thing that I wasn't overly keen on was that the shadows on all these images were very dark. Of course this might have been the film and not the scanning (I'll check when I get my negatives back in the post) but either way only a 2 second fix in Lightroom so no worries.

Always Great Service

I only get my films developed here now. Consistently high quality and nothing is too much trouble for them. Oh and super speedy service too!

Quick turnaround and good results

Ag Labs turned my film around promptly, excellent communications so I knew where the film was in the process and the results were sent by We-Transfer quickly. The developed negative strips followed in the post a day or two later.

I would like to thank the chaps in the lab for their help in processing and scanning my Film Ferrania P30Alpha film. This is a new film fresh to the market with no processing instructions. They were extremely helpful and knowledgeable have done a superb job with this film.
