127 is most commonly found as film for process black and white. But it does also appear as colour negative process C41 and C22. Occasionally as E6.

127 is identifiable, as per the image, as a small roll film format with paper backing. 127 has to be scanned or printed manually, hence the increased cost over 35mm and 120 formats.
