Excatly the same receipe as original Agfa Rodinal, but now renamed ‘Adox’ Rodinal after the demise of Agfa Photo in 2005.

Rodinal is one of the most popular B&W film developers for many reasons, but not least because it is very economical (typical dilution is 1:25 or 1:50) and because it has an excellent shelf life, measured in years, even after opening. Rodinal is a high acutance developer – this means it develops the film to deliver increased apparent sharpness. It does this at the expense of an increase in visible grain, and this is also an attraction for some photographers. In our view Rodinal is not a developer for everything and every situation, but, rather it is a product you should always have to hand because it works beautifully with some slower films, such as Ilford Pan-F – and this is really where it excels, with lower speed emulsions. Saying that, as with everything in black and white, there are exceptions and excellent results have been achieved processing Ilford Delta 3200 in Rodinal. And no doubt there are likely to be many who will say Rodinal is their developer of choice for Ilford HP5 or Kodak Tri-X.

A one-shot developer – dilute to the required ratio, process the film and discard.
