Champion RA4 Developer Starter – 2 × 1L Concentrates

Champion RA4 Developer Starter is an essential additive for RA4 colour print processing. Supplied as two 1L concentrates, this kit goes a long way in a personal darkroom. The starter is used to “season” freshly mixed RA4 developer, reducing its activity to the correct level and preventing chemical fogging of the paper.

The chemistry is fully homogenised, meaning it can be used with different brands of RA4 developer – simply follow the mixing instructions for your chosen developer and adjust the starter amount accordingly.

Processing Tip:
Before starting a print run, test the activity of your RA4 developer by fully exposing a strip of colour paper to light and processing it. Once dry, it should be jet black with no blue tint – a quick way to check your chemistry is in peak condition before using the BLIX stage.
