FX30 is a regular black and white fixer for both film and paper with a low odour level. Other “regular”, modern, fixers such as Ilford Rapid Fix, Tetenal Superfix or Fotospeed FX20, don’t have a particularly high odour level – however, some customers do prefer this odourless version. Dilute 1:4 for film and 1:9 for paper. 1:9 for film for better economy, but double fixing time to a minimum of 2 minutes, preferably longer.
