Ilford Multigrade FB Classic is a premium double-weight, traditional fibre-based black & white photographic paper, ideal for fine art and darkroom enthusiasts. An evolution of the renowned Multigrade IV Fibre Based paper, it features a slightly warmer base tone, which can be subtly adjusted through developer choice.

This paper delivers rich blacks, smooth tonal separation, and full contrast control with normal or Ilford Multigrade filters, offering a full range of grades. The Gloss surface provides a naturally smooth low gloss finish or can be glazed for high gloss, while the Matte surface offers a soft, flat, fine art quality. As a fibre-based paper, it requires extended washing to ensure archival quality, rewarding patience with exceptional image depth and longevity.
