Ilford PAN-F Plus 50 is a slow-speed, traditional black and white film designed for ultimate image quality. With an ultra-fine grain structure and high resolution, it’s ideal for applications where detail and sharpness are critical—especially landscape, architecture, and still-life photography.

With a nominal ISO of 50, this film delivers superb tonality, excellent contrast, and extremely fine detail. Originally introduced in the 1930s, it’s a film with classic heritage, best suited to experienced photographers who understand the importance of accurate metering and exposure control. It’s not a forgiving film—under- or overexposure can lead to inconsistent results—but when shot and processed carefully, it produces stunning, exhibition-quality negatives.
