Ilford PERCEPTOL 1L

Ilford Perceptol is an ultra fine grain developer – formulated in such a way that its very low activity means the formation of silver is controlled thus resulting in the very fine grain. The main developing agent is Metol. The trade off is a loss of speed so don’t expect to be able to expose successfully at the box ISO rating, we would recommend overexposing by a stop as a starting point, and, as with all black and white film exposure and development, experiment.
