Ilford XP2 400 is a versatile ISO 400 black and white film designed to be processed in the widely available C41 colour process. This makes commercial processing simple and convenient, as C41 labs are easy to find worldwide. XP2 stands out as the only current black and white film processed with C41 chemistry since Kodak and Fujifilm’s colour-process black and white films have been discontinued.

While traditional black and white processing is available at Ag Photolab, XP2 offers unique advantages beyond ease of processing. Its emulsion structure produces images with exceptionally smooth tonal transitions and very low visible grain. XP2 is also quite contrasty, delivering striking results that many photographers appreciate. Furthermore, it boasts excellent exposure latitude similar to colour negative films, giving you flexibility in challenging lighting conditions.

XP2 is especially well-suited for portraiture, capturing natural skin tones with clarity and finesse.
