Kodak Hypo Clearing Agent 3.8L is a trusted darkroom essential, renowned for decades and favoured by legendary photographers such as Ansel Adams. Supplied in powder form, it is dissolved in water to produce 3.8 litres of stock solution, which is then diluted 1:4 for working strength. This hypo clearing agent significantly reduces washing times for both black & white film and fibre-based paper, helping remove residual fixer from the emulsion.

Proper use improves archival stability, ensuring your negatives and prints remain in excellent condition over time. Ideal for use after fixing, it works most efficiently at 18–24°C and should be followed by thorough rinsing.
