Rollei 80S is a unique slow-speed black and white film, perfect for fine art photography or general use in bright lighting conditions. Manufactured in Belgium by Agfa Gevaert, this emulsion offers extended red sensitivity up to 750nm, enabling striking infrared effects when used with a dark red filter. Originally developed as Agfa Aviphot Pan80 for detailed mapping at various altitudes, this film excels in pictorial and landscape photography by penetrating haze and delivering exceptional detail. The emulsion is coated on a durable polyester base for enhanced stability.

Although rated at ISO 80, our testing and lab experience suggest rating the film slower — at ISO 50 or even ISO 25 — to avoid underexposed shadows and fully realize the film’s potential.
