Rollei Infrared 400 – 35mm Film

Rollei Infrared 400 is a true infrared-sensitive black and white film with spectral sensitivity extending up to 820nm. Manufactured by AGFA-Gevaert in Belgium, it delivers exceptionally fine grain, low base fog for easier scanning, and superb infrared effects when used with the appropriate IR filter. Without filtration, it behaves like a conventional ISO 400 film with increased haze penetration.

This is the only genuine infrared film currently on the market, outperforming alternatives like Ilford SFX in IR reach. With proper technique and filtration, you can achieve classic IR effects – black skies, glowing foliage, and ethereal landscapes.

Rollei Infrared is coated on a strong polyester base, so handle with care to avoid camera damage when rewinding. While it can be loaded in daylight, subdued light or a changing bag is highly recommended to avoid light piping.
