Tetenal hardener for fixers may added to compatible fixers to harden emulsion during fixing. It is an optional extra, mainly for film, but it is possibly to use with paper. (note: not all fixers are compatible. For example Ilford Hypam is compatible. Ilford Rapid Fixer is not compatible – please refer to manufacturer if you are unsure).
