Each roll of film receives a carefully calibrated development time, specific to the film stock and matched to our developer (Ilford ILFOTEC DD) and refined processing techniques. This attention to detail is essential in black and white film processing, where timing and consistency directly impact contrast, grain, and tonal range.

We use a dip and dunk processor – custom built for us – for all black and white film. This method, superior to traditional roller or drum processing, ensures gentle, even development with no risk of scratching, delivering the finest possible results in black and white film processing.

Please note: The quality of your results depends heavily on accurate exposure, the condition of your film, and the performance of your camera and lens. We encourage customers to experiment with films at their stated speed (ISO) and to avoid pushing film unless required for lighting conditions.
