E6 Film Processing – Professional Colour Reversal Film Development

We provide expert E6 film processing for all types of E6 film (also known as “Slide” or “Positive” film). To check if your film uses this process, look for the “E6” marking on the film canister or packaging. Need help identifying your film? Click here.

At AG, we run a professionally monitored E6 film processing service with control strips run and analysed by densitometer daily. When it comes to scanning or printing your film, our skilled technicians professionally balance by eye each frame for colour, contrast and density. Our policy is to balance images so as to obtain the best from your film and deliver usable files with a balance of shadow and highlight detail – based on our professional judgement. If you would prefer flat, low-contrast scan files ready for your own balancing and editing, or no balancing at all, please select this option from the drop-down box during ordering.

Push & Pull Processing
Unlike colour negative film, push and pull processing has a significant impact when developing E6 slide film. If you’ve shot your film at a different ISO than the box speed, it’s essential that you select the appropriate Push or Pull option from the dropdown menu when ordering – and clearly mark your film accordingly. Failing to do so can result in poorly exposed transparencies – too dark or too light – that are difficult to recover. Overexposed slide film is especially challenging to correct, and unlike colour negative film, E6 offers very limited latitude for digital adjustment. To achieve accurate and usable results, it’s critical to match the development process to your shooting ISO.

Turnaround time:
5 – 10 working days.
